In our reading expeditions, we will encounter adults and children, and while this seems an obvious distinction on the surface, the reality is more elusive.
In your second journal assignment, please describe, in 100-200 words, the signals that indicate that a person is “grown-up.” Needless to say, we’re going beyond the mere physiological indications here.
Oh yes . . . there’s a catch: describe how you know this about a member of the gender OPPOSITE from yours: male students, write about girls to women and Female students, write about boys to men.
