Bikers Culture

The biker society continues to defy set societal standards such as permanent homes, regular jobs, religion and even moral standards. Instead they have created a subculture where they behave like nomads staying on the road on their motorcycles for most days of the year, not having permanent homes rather preferring to troop like gangs to motels and other cheap lodgings, staying away from regular jobs preferring money through sale of drugs, gambling and other illegal activities, and even participating in citizen duties such as voting and participating in religion. They are therefore viewed as anti-social sub group of the population and identified with criminal activities and unruly nature.

You need to narrow it down to just a few sentences if possible and really give your reader a clear understanding about what direction you are going with your paper. They also need to be arguable which you have a good start with here! Good job and with just a few adjustments you will have a killer thesis!

This is not a thesis statement. This is a whole paragraph. Your thesis should be one statement, and it is the most important statement and the last one in the introduction paragraph. The propose of the thesis is convincing others that you have an interesting, logical point of view on the subject you are studying.

What is a direction for the entire paper? If you get the direction, you will be easy to explain about your paper to reader.

Your thesis statement is a complete sentence. It is also a statement that has been put across in a way that is arguable. The thesis statement has also been narrowed down to a specific topic, the biker culture. It, thus give the direction of the papers as it gives the introduction of the paper.
