M4 Discussion: The Opioid Epidemic
For this discussion, we will focus on the opioid epidemic, which is one of the largest U.S. public health crises in modern history.

First, each of you will use the search engine Google Scholar (scholar.google.com) and search on “opioid epidemic” or a similar search term. Find an article on Google Scholar that interests you, and for which you are able to access the entire article for free. Summarize the article according to the following format, and post your article summary in this discussion. Over the course of the module, read and respond to at least three of your classmates’ article reviews.

Opioid Epidemic Article Summary Required Format:

Link to the original article
Citation (author, date, title, publisher, etc.)
Summary of the article
Glossary of terms that you or your classmates may be unfamiliar with
Implications of the research for people who are addicted to opioids
Initial Post: By Sunday of Week 7 each student must post an article review related to this topic. 

As posts are submitted, respond to your classmates observations and comments.  Choose at least three posts from your classmates and be sure to respond to any questions others might have of your comments.
Week 8: Continue to respond to your classmates’ work in the discussion.
