Christian Spiritual Traditions

The paper will provide a model for the movement of inward reflection and congruent outward action in relationship to the student’s personal convictions. The paper will provide students an opportunity to describe their own convictions, and daily practices and lifestyle decisions congruent with those convictions. The paper will reference models of congruence encountered in the course.

The paper will also describe a theology of Christian spirituality and its necessary outward expressions, and focus on one of the primary texts in the course as a reference for comparison and/or contrast to the student’s vision. Additional resources will be employed to support the student’s personal convictions, perspective on the primary source, and description of focal points the student addresses. A fuller description of this assignment will be provided in Courses.
