Project marking guidelines:

Parameters Grade

Abstract or Executive Summary and introduction (as appropriate) (10%)

Clearly provides an overview of the research project, including conclusions and recommendations.

Clearly explains the problem or issue being investigated, justifying why this is considered important.

Research question and objectives (15%)

Provides a clear statement of what the Project seeks to achieve.

Critical literature review 

Indicate, using appropriate referencing, the main literature sources for your research justifying their appropriateness to the research question. Demonstrates knowledge of the relevant literature by identifying key debates, concepts and theories.

Methodology (25%)

The methodology section addresses the research design and data collection.

Ethics (5%)

There must be a consideration of ethics and how it influenced the research process.

Data Analysis (20%)

Evaluation of the data collected.

Conclusions and recommendations (20%)

Well-rounded discussion of any main conclusions and recommendations arising from the research undertaken.

Bibliography (5%)

Using adequate bibliography with Harvard referencing and a minimum of 6-10 academic sources.
