This posting develops an instructional project to teach students to understand what a learning disability is and how they can compensate for this disability. The project includes ways to teach students about learning disabilities, cognitive and metacognitive strategies or how they compensate for the disability, and the importance of developing self-advocacy skills to access services in the classroom.
