This is a problem/solution analytical project.  For this assignment, you will write an argument/persuasion research paper based on any topic for which you can

define the problem and support it through research, and propose a solution for the problem and support it through research.  The following are some sample topics but

you are not restricted to these topics.
While you are writing your research paper, keep the following in mind:
•    You will be writing your paper using the guidelines for APA format in A Writer’s Reference.
•    Your final essay should be 5 or more pages, double-spaced, in Times New Roman font, 12 point.
•    Attribute any resource material appropriately.  Do not string quotes together.  The major voice in the paper should be yours not the reference material.
•    Plagiarism will result in a zero and you will fail the course.
•    Document at least 5 published sources. Ensure each has an author(s), publish date, and source.  No Wikipedia or mass market sources.  At least one resource

should come from an academic journal and one from your interviews.

•    The APA page and resource page format is in A Writer’s Reference.
