Since the September 11, 2011 attacks on the US, there has been considerable debate over the measures used in the “war on terror” here at home. Some argue that the Bush and Obama administrations were responsible for unnecessary abuses of the civil liberties and civil rights of American citizens and other residents of the US. However, others argue that the measures taken by these administrations were appropriate and necessary for protecting the United States from further attacks. Where do you stand on this issue?
