The objective of this assignment is to assess the feasibility of a NEW PROJECT IN THE INITIATION STAGE against strategic objectives of an organisation (Real Orgnization not FAKE!). The report may require students to provide alternatives to the initial concept of the project and review each of the Project management knowledge areas to determine an appropriate approach to the project. (2,000 words, excluding attachments).

Do not chose big-mega scale projects, I want small – mid scale projects and please avoid any typical projects like restaurants, cafe`, grocery store etc. this might be a construction, new/upgrading software, improving business process, think broad! but at the end there must be a link between choosing this project and the organization’s corporate/strategic plan.

Please use as much reference, appendices, stats, figures, tables .etc as needed to support your idea and any new information.

(1) State the corporate plan and connect it to the project.
Project Business Case: Clear coherent and succinct description of the project’s objectives and how the benefits are linked to organizational strategic direction / plan.

(2) Feasibility Report: Excellent application of theory to determine the feasibility of the project with clear and cogent justification.

(3) Recommendations: Recommended project progress is based on high practical value and is supported by clear and cogent justification.

(4) Structure of the Report and Written Presentation: Excellent use of written language, and logical structure which succinctly conveys major issues. The brief is free of spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors and applies consistent formatting of text and headings throughout.
