Research paper (~20 pages in length)

(1) First, you should select a topic to explore and write a research question related to it. What would you like to know? Was there a part of this class that you found particularly interesting? Would you like to know more? Is there something that we did not cover in class (related to inequality) that you wish we had? This is your chance to do it! Here are a couple of documents to help you think about appropriate research questions:

(2) Next consider what you will DO to get answers to your question. There are a couple of possibilities:

* Option A: Traditional Research Paper – this is your typical report-style paper, where you have a question or topic of interest, you read and synthesize library resources and course readings, then you write a paper explaining what other sociologists have to say about the topic.
